Irina Mogilevskaya
Mogilevskaya Irina (Ryabuhina in girlhood) was born on 11 April, 1952 in the Eastern part of Ukraine, in Lugansk city. She entered the pictorial faculty of Lugansk Art College in 1971, which she successfully graduated in 1975. Thereafter, she entered the artwork faculty of Kharkov Art and Design Academy
She perfectly mastered such techniques as etching, lithography, linocut, and xylography. Her degree work – the series of posters “Surrounding environment defense” was performed at the all-USSR national exhibition of the best degree works in Baku, 1981. Irina has been teacher practicing in Lugansk Art College since 1980. She teaches such disciplines as drawing, painting, and composition. Side by side with teaching, she takes part in Ukrainian and European exhibitions.
